Greetings, my little pumpkin spice guzzling mosaicists!

Did you get your first PSL of the season yet? I did and it was gloriously sugary and delightfully pumpkin-y. I’m not quite ready to jump into sweats and sweaters, but I do love the colorful and delicious change from summer to fall.

If you follow me on social, you know it’s been a busy summer. Corporate team building events, mirror workshops, private classes ~ I have met THE BEST people who have continued to make each one of these experiences special. When I get back after an event, my husband always says, “Let me guess. It was the best class ever, right?!” And I say, “Yes. Yes it was.” I hope they never stop being the best classes ever because it’s the energy and people that keep me moving and shaking.

And speaking of that husband of mine, he is THE BEST ever, because he drives me to my events, helps me unload and picks me back up afterward. So, here’s a special shout-out to Mizter Mozaic! He doesn’t know it yet, but he just got promoted to VP of Mobile Mozaic Operations. Congratulate him the next time you see him.

Hello my little overheated meatballs . . . I mean, radiant beings of summer!

WHY is it SO hot right now?!? I’m sweating just typing this. Pretty sure my laptop’s about to ask for a popsicle.

Summer’s in full sizzle, but August is packed with cool stuff! Join me for one (or all!) of my events with the Shop Made crew in VA and DC. Grab a “Made by the Mizz” Virginia frame (no assembly needed), a DIY VA coaster kit or sign up to make a magical mosaic mirror. More deets below!

Oh ~ my brain is so fried I almost forgot to tell you about that pic above! We had our first-ever guest use AI to create their design on the spot ~ a total Mizz Mozaic first. It was unexpected, a little wild, and honestly . . . kind of awesome.

Hello and Happy Summer Solstice!

Me and my mom have always shared a love for the sun. We LOVE sunsets and sunrises – and growing up near Lake Erie meant we were lucky enough to witness some truly awesome views. Sometimes the sun made the sky look like cotton candy – all pink and blue and swirly, with puffy clouds that made you wish you could leap up and bounce from one to the next. That’s a pic of my mom with the sunshine mosaic mirror we made together a few summers ago – a little piece of sunshine we’ll always treasure.

This weekend, the sun will be out! (Thank the goddesses because the rain was starting to wear on me!) Come visit me at a market (or two!) this weekend or join me as I look ahead to July when – SURPRISE! – Mizz Mozaic will be a Spotlight Maker at Shop Made in VA in Old Town Alexandria! Sprinkle in a Mosaic Summer Camp in Vienna for budding artists and a weeknight creative hang at Caboose Commons in Mosaic District (more deets below!), and that’s sure to add some extra color to your summer evenings.
